Provide gainful employment to all jobseekers in the State of Kerala either through paid employment or self employment and to provide vocational/educational guidance and other service to the utmost satisfaction of the stake holders.

Kerala Self Employment Scheme for the Registered Unemployed

Kerala State Self Employment Scheme for the Registered Unemployed-1999 is called KESRU-99. It is a self Employment Scheme launched by the Kerala Government. Candidates within the age group of 21 to 50 years are eligible to apply under KESRU.

MULTI-PURPOSE SERVICE CENTRES / JOB CLUBS

All unemployed persons in the live Register of Employment Exchanges between the age limit 21 – 50 with annual family income not exceeding Rs.1,00,000/- will get bank loan upto Rs. 1,00,000/- for self employment.

SARANYA - SELF EMPLOYMENT SCHEME FOR THE DESTITUTE WOMEN

All unemployed persons in the live Register of Employment Exchanges between the age limit 21 – 50 with annual family income not exceeding Rs.1,00,000/- will get bank loan upto Rs. 1,00,000/- for self employment.

KAIVALYA - Comprehensive Employment Assistance for the Differently Abled

All unemployed persons in the live Register of Employment Exchanges between the age limit 21 – 50 with annual family income not exceeding Rs.1,00,000/- will get bank loan upto Rs. 1,00,000/- for self employment.

  • Placement Service

    Providing an interface between the employers and the job seekers in that it sponsors the candidates of required qualification, experience, skill set for various jobs within the shortest possible time.

  • Employment Market Information

    The main objective of the programme is to collect the information regarding periodic changes in the level of employment, occupational, educational, industrial, and sectorial composition of employment and shortages and surplus in manpower etc. on a regular and continuous basis.

  • Vocational Guidance

    Vocational Guidance means assistance given to an individual in solving problems related to vocational planning and occupational choices.

  • Responsibility and Integrity

    Educational Guidance is imparted through the VG units functioning in 14 District Employment Exchanges and 7 University Employment Information and Guidance Bureaus in the State
