Registration

Information

Any candidate who has attained 14 years of age can register their name at employment exchange within the jurisdiction of the employment exchange in which he permanently resides, on all working days either by spot registration or through online.

Procedure

The candidates should have to produce the original certificates concerned so as to prove their age, educational qualifications, community and their address for verification. The candidates can register their names online through the website www.eemployment.kerala.gov.in as well.

Instruction

In the case of online registration, candidates should report at the employment exchange concerned with all registered certificates in original to get the registration verified and validated within 90 days of such online registration. On such timely reporting they will get the original seniority effective from the date of online registration. Otherwise the seniority would be lost.

If the candidates had already registered at any employment exchange anywhere in India and such registration became lapsed, they should report at the new employment exchange where he wishes to register with the laps intimation/cancellation certificate from the former employment exchange and address proof. The cancellation certificate will not be valid for transfer of registration with in the state.

Addition of certificates

Information

Candidates can add their additional qualification to their present registration. The seniority of such qualification will be effective from the date of addition of such qualification. The additional qualification can be registered either by spot registration or through online.

Instruction

In case of online registration, the original certificates concerned should be produced  at  the  employment  exchange  concerned  within  90  days  of  such registration. Otherwise seniority would be lost.

 

Addition of Experience certificate

Information and procedure

The candidates who got temporary placement either through employment exchange or on their own effort should produce the discharge certificate concerned in prescribed format at the employment exchange concerned within 90 days of relieving of duty. Otherwise seniority would be lost.

Help

As per G.O (RT) no 167/07/LBR dated 17/01/2007, the registrants who could not renew their  registration on time due to illness, delivery, accident, arrest under preventive  detention  laws, national calamities like earth quake, flood etc, armed  conflict  with  a  foreign  country  ,internal  disturbances  necessitating imposition  of curfew etc can be provided with original old seniority provided that they report at the employment exchange concerned with in one year post the incidents with all the necessary documents to prove the incident (in case of illness or delivery the registrants  should produce  medical / fitness certificates, and certificate of declaration of the  particular incident issued by the Tahasildar concerned  in  other  cases) As  per the G.O,  the  candidates who  could  not produce   discharge certificate at the employment exchange within 90 days of relieving  of duty due to the above mentioned reasons are also be granted with old seniority provided that all the conditions mentioned above are satisfied with.

The candidates who got appointment through employment exchange and could not continue in that job for pursuing higher education in Government/ affiliated colleges/institution either on regular basis or distance education /online course mode are also granted with original seniority provided that they report at the Directorate of employment with necessary documents to prove admission to such course of study.

 

Transfer of registration to other employment exchange

Information

The registration can be transferred to other employment exchanges without losing original seniority.

Procedure

The candidate should report at the new employment exchange to where he wishes  to  transfer  his/her  registration,  with   employment  ID  card  and documents to prove  his/her new permanent address.

 

Renewal of Registration

Information

The renewal period will be of 3 years uniformly for all types of applicants. The registrants will be allowed to renew their registration (in person or by post or online) on any working day during the period of three months of registration namely the month in which the renewal falls due and  the following 2 months. The SC/ST candidates are allowed to renew their registration within one year from the month on which the renewal falls due.

Help

The unemployment allowances will not be granted to those registrants who do not renew their registration on time and renew their registration on the basis of special renewal order issued by Government.
